SYDNEY CARPENTER

COACH SYDNEY

As a high school student at Hilton, Sydney excelled on the lacrosse field, playing in the attack/midfield position. Her dedication and skill earned her 2nd team all-league honors in 2018 and 1st team all-league honors in both 2019 and 2021.


Throughout her high school career, Sydney made a significant impact, accumulating impressive statistics of 208 points, 143 ground balls, 338 draw controls, and 97 tackles. Her outstanding performance led to numerous accolades, including being named the 2021 Hilton High School Female Athlete of the Year and earning a spot on the All-Greater Rochester Super 16 in the same year. Sydney was also selected for the Class A All-Tournament Team and received the All-County honor four times, with two First-Team selections for lacrosse. Her teammates recognized her exceptional contributions by awarding her the Most Valuable Player title three times.


Sydney's passion for lacrosse continued into her collegiate career. She initially played at Siena College before transferring to SJFU. Her exceptional abilities were acknowledged at the collegiate level as well, earning her the distinction of being named IWLCA First-Team All-Region. In addition, Sydney received the prestigious titles of Empire 8's Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. Her contributions to the team were invaluable, appearing and starting in 18 games, scoring an impressive 36 goals, and providing 30 assists throughout the season. Sydney's impact extended beyond scoring, as she excelled in other aspects of the game, tallying 119 draw controls, 36 ground balls, and 13 caused turnovers.


Sydney Carpenter brings her extensive lacrosse experience, leadership skills, and passion for the game to her coaching career. Her remarkable achievements as a player, combined with her dedication and commitment to the sport, make her an invaluable asset to any coaching staff.
