KEN STOCKMANN

COACH KEN


Ken joined the FCA Coaching staff in 2019. He started playing lacrosse in middle school on Long Island at Smithtown. He through varsity and then went onto SUNY Farmingdale, a JUCO program for 1 season. After freshman year he transferred to SUNY Plattsburgh where he played defense, LSM and defensive midfield throughout his 3 seasons there.

After graduating he transitioned to an assistant coach role with the team and stayed on for 3 seasons. Upon moving to Rochester in 2004 he became the modified coach with Gates Chili for one season before becoming the head JV coach for two seasons. He stepped away from scholastic coaching when his daughter was born in 2007.

Stockmann was introduced to FCA when his nephew began playing with them in the summer of 2014 and got a much closer look at what they were about when his son began attending their camps and the AR4 event prior to joining the 2027 team in 2016. His favorite part of coaching with FCA is the people, the camaraderie that the players form and the bond between the teams and their coaches.

He resides in Webster with his wife Kim and their two children, daughter Avery and son JD. In addition to coaching with FCA he also coaches with the Webster Lacrosse Club.
