COACH DAVE

Dave Stein is a highly accomplished lacrosse coach who dedicated many years of his career to leading the FLCC (Finger Lakes Community College) lacrosse team. With his expertise and commitment to the sport, he has left a lasting impact on the program. In recognition of his outstanding coaching abilities, Dave was honored as the NJCAA Coach of the Year in 2016.


Dave's educational background has played a significant role in shaping his coaching philosophy. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from MSU (Michigan State University) and later pursued a Master of Science degree in Education from Roberts Wesleyan College. This educational foundation has provided him with a well-rounded perspective on coaching and teaching.


Residing in Honeoye Falls, Dave is an integral part of the local lacrosse community. He is known for his passion for the sport and his dedication to developing young athletes both on and off the field. Dave's commitment to his players' growth extends beyond the lacrosse field, as he strives to instill values such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.



Beyond coaching, Dave is a devoted father to three daughters, balancing his personal and professional life with care. His experiences as a parent have further enhanced his ability to connect with his players, nurturing a supportive and family-like environment within his team.
