A few weeks ago, midfielder Dawson Felenchak (Horseheads HS) announced his commitment to play at Alfred University next year. We caught up with Dawson and asked him a few questions regarding the FCA and him choosing Alfred University.

Here are Dawson’s answers below:

Q. Why did you and your family choose to play for FCA?

A. My family and I chose FCA because of all the great coaches and people who run FCA and because of the great exposure they give you.

Q. What has the FCA meant to you?

A. FCA meant a lot to me, it’s a brotherhood that I will never forget and created life long friendships.

Q. Who are your role models?

A. My role models are my parents and my brother because they have always pushed me to be the best person I could be and to never give up.

Q. What do you enjoy most about playing for the FCA?

A. The most enjoyable times I had with FCA is strengthening my faith during the huddles and hanging out with my teammates at the tournaments.

Q. Why did you choose Alfred University?

A. I chose Alfred University because of the great academic and athletic programs they have. Alfred was the best fit to make me a better person and to give me a good opportunity to play lacrosse for 4 years.
